Who we are
We are both Musicians and music enthusiasts, we come from academic drums and percussion studies and over the years we have approached Meditation and Sound Healing paths. We are very passionate about the Handpan because it combines percussion and melody and can be adapted very well to various contests, from the musical to the meditative and relaxing such as Sound Bath.
After many years of study, we have decided to make our experience available to those who want to learn to play the Handpan...
Therefore we have founded: CORSOHANDPAN.COM
We offer Group Courses and Individual Lessons in many Italian cities and we have created Online Video Courses for all levels with our method.
And we are also collaborating with other Musicians who bring their teachings to our online school through MasterClass Video-Courses.
Our Courses
We have created a teaching method that embraces our academic training as percussionists and drummers applied to this entirely new instrument for which it did not exist yet.
Being a fairly new instrument, there are no specific rhythms for Handpan; the good news is that you can adapt a lot of rhythms used with other percussion.
By following the techniques you will learn on our courses, you can easily play and have fun right away , even if you have never played any instrument before .
With our Method you will also begin to learn the rhythmic language with which you will be able to read music, play and create rhythms to your liking, going on with the levels you will be able to perfect your skills, starting to understand the various aspects of musical composition using melodies , chords , percussive effects, hand independence, dynamics and rhythms . In the more advanced Levels the focus will be on various styles and musical genres, deepening even the most intriguing Rhythms used by the Pros !

In our courses we will also see the various types of Handpan and their chapters (metals, number of notes, use and maintenance), different scales (major, minor, Arabic, Indian ... and their various names and tones), combinations between these.
We have divided our courses into 4 consecutive Levels + the Online MasterClass
accompanying those who want to learn from the basics to become a real musician:
